Oggi il corpo ha seguito il suo consiglio. Al momento di farsi ritrarre nel suo studio romano per questa fotografia, si presentò con una camiciola bordata di pizzo e un maglioncino rosa pastello. Adocchiata una giacca scamosciata, piuttosto vissuta, sull'attaccapanni e verificato che fosse sua, le chiesi di indossarla. Di colpo si trasformò in un'altra persona, quasi un'icona alla Louise Bourgeois. Quando le mostrai la Polaroid di prova, mi disse: "Guardi, sono ormai quasi cieca. Faccia lei. Abbia solo pietà di me".
"I am the brains. Body does what it wants."
Today the body followed her advice. At the time of his portrait in her studio in Rome for this photograph, she showed up with a shirt and a sweater edged with pastel pink lace.
